Each product is manufactured with care by skilled craftsmen who have inherited the techniques to craft Japanese fittings and fixtures. The traditional woodworking technique called "Kumiko" is a delicate technique to assemble finely chopped wood pieces into a geometric pattern without using nails, by making grooves, holes, and tenons on the wood and adjusting it with a plane, saw, chisel, etc. The geometric patterns are made by inserting small wood pieces called “leaves” into the latticed frame, forming various shapes.
