Showing you the hidden side of Shibuya!
Shibuya is one of the most recommended places in Japan. But you wouldn't normally compare it to places such as Kyoto or Hiroshima. These spots are you would think more cultural and historical spots where you go to Shibuya more for the crossing and maybe a little shopping. However Shibuya has many different hidden interesting areas, and we want to introduce these places to you!
From impressive shrines and temples, to amazing places where you can try some beautiful examples of Japanese Cuisine, Shibuya has it all!

We currently run tours that focus on the Shibuya area.
What's great is that most of our tours are accessible to everyone! We currently have three tours that focus on:
The introductory tour of the Shibuya hub! This focuses on the area around Shibuya crossing and includes recommendations where to eat and where to buy the best gifts in the area!
The local tour of Shibuya! This is a look at cultural and historical side of Shibuya while also learning certain Japanese manners! We'll also try to point out some places that not even many Japanese people know about!
Our last tour is aimed for adults over 20 years old! This is our Food tour, were we tour around and try a few different restaurants! In between this you'll be able to learn about the area as well!
With these different plans, we've tried to fill most peoples needs! But that's most and not all...
What do we want to do?
We're looking at creating tours that start later on after 9pm! We plan to create two different types of tour, the simple nightlife tour and a special type of tour, the all night tour!
The nightlife tour will look at spots that people might miss out in the hustle and bustle of a normal Shibuya Night!
The main aim for this project is the creation of the all night tour! Due to trains not running for about 4-5 hours after 12pm, the concept of an all night tour in Shibuya isn't in the minds of many tour operators! But Shibuya has many different amazing places that are open either 24 hours or into the early hours of the morning! This isn't just clubs either! We want to try to bring these amazing places to light and give visitors to Shibuya an amazing tour to remember! It's even perfect for those that have jetlag as it will match your sleeping pattern for the first day!
In order to create these tours, we need to expand! For a start having an all night tour would mean we need extra tour guides. It will also cost money for the initial costs of starting up the project. That's why we wish to use crowdfunding to help us achieve this aim to be one of the only companies that has tours that encompass the whole day!

Main Return
Premium Trial Night Tour!
We want to give visitors a special return that they will want to try out! We have planned a small test version of the night tour that we want to give if the project is successful! While it's not going to be what the night tour will be when we create the real one, we want to give people an idea of what it will be like and get them interested in what the all night tour will be like in the future!
Main Return Timetable
Obviously because this is a trial tour, we will be running daytime tours as usual. With only one main tour guide at the moment, we can't run the night tours everyday. Please use the following calendar as a guide to when we can accept tours! If you wish to choose a certain day please contact us at

Alternative Returns
Tour for one or four! Local area or Main hub area tour!
Choose between local or main Shibuya and go on a tour with our main Tour Guide Shogo! Shogo in Shibuya!
With this you can explore Shibuya and learn either about the incredible culture and history about Shibuya, or you can take a detailed tour of Shibuya, learning about the best places to try out and also some interesting places to visit!
This can be used at any time and can be combined with other returns! (for example a group of five can choose tour for one and tour for four to make a five group package!)
Tour for 1 or 4 Food Cruise! Go on a food cruise around Shibuya!! Sample some amazing brands of sake in a taster test, as well as getting an introduction to some famous Japanese delicacies!
This can be used at any time and can be combined with other returns!
What's more!!! With all the returns, you'll also receive a special souvenir of you time with us!!

About this project
One thing that comes up regularly between those that work in the Japanese tourism industry is [Night time Tourism]. This comes about from hearing many visitors from overseas saying things such as “there isn’t anywhere to go other than clubs at night” or “I don’t really know what I can do during the night when I’m here”. In order to solve these qualms, we want to help give a solution and thus we started this project!
There is so much to do in Shibuya at night! Not only that but we want people to enjoy our amazing city! We want you to go hope and tell all your friends “The best memory I have of Japan is my time during Shibuya while walking around at night!” We hope that through this project we can hopefully convey the amazing qualities of Shibuya and why we think that going on one of our night tours will be the best time in Japan you can have!
Shogo Nomura- Head Tour Guide
Hi I’m Shogo Nomura! I’m originally from Sapporo! I moved to Canada after I finished High School and worked in Vancouver and Banff, all the while improving my English! I came back to Japan and started work at a share house real estate, and due to my experience I headed up the side focused on foreign customers. After that I started working as an official Shibuya Ward Tour Guide as well as part of the Tourist Association Information group!
Shota Asaka- Head Of Hang Out Japan
Hello, My name is Shota Asaka! I’m half Filipino, half Japanese and I come from a city called Warabi in Saitama Prefecture. I’m a founding member of Jnnovations! I worked in IT sales for about two years before moving into foreigner based volunteer guide with Japan Local Buddy in 2015. Up until now, I’ve helped to train about 1,500 volunteer guides each year in the Saitama area!

Jnnovations is a company that works with the Shibuya Tourist Information Centre and various souvenir shops, as well as running routine volunteer activities with direct contact with foreign tourists numbering over 150000 people each year! Using this data, we work to support the local government with inbound marketing. Our tours are especially recommended with various TV programmes as well as printed and web magazines using our services daily! Our CEO Shunta Omori has a big interest in overseas study, with many of our projects focusing on supporting overseas students here!
