Whether it be when you’re walking, running, or just standing still, your feet, especially your soles, are under constant strain. How this strain is managed and where it’s displaced depends on your shoe insoles. This makes what type of shoe you choose incredibly important, especially the types of support that that shoe gives you.

So we set forth to make an insole that would fit into a variety of people’s lives and help to take some of the burden off their feet.

After 5 years, and incorporating the ideals of our company, we have created an insole that fits and shapes around the users foot and supports it in three dimensional way, as well as displacing the pressures on the foot from walking and standing. We created the “bine” insole.

This insole is a whole new breed of insole, and we hope that you take us on our offer to try it out!

Many insoles on sale today are flat, and due to the abundance of these flat soles on sale, most people have only tried this variety out.

But using these soles are a waste of time and money, even just when considering where it touches the foot. With flat insoles, due to not conforming to the foot properly, it is just an extra layer in your shoe. With the bine insole though, it has that necessary contact, which keeps the foot supported at all times, taking the burden of the arch of the foot.

Some insoles may also be of a similar shape but mostly lack the shock absorbency of the bine insole, or aren’t shaped properly.

The bine insole is both comfortable and supportive, and lets you feel like you’re walking barefoot on the grass!

The red parts shoe where most of the pressure is. These areas are normally the areas most in contact with the ground, but with bine, it helps disperse the burden normally felt.

The support also helps to cup the heel and cushions the impact when you take a step.

Most conventional insoles are quite thick meaning that when you put your foot inside, it can feel very cramped.

bine Insoles are only 1.7mm thick, as well as being a half insole, which means that your toes don't lose any room. You can use it with mostly any type of shoe!

In the case of sandals, due to being mostly open, the bine Insole doesn't work with them.

The bine Insole fits flexibly to the foot of whoever uses it, reacting to the step of the person, appropriately springing the foot back and dispersing the force on the foot.

This intuitiveness of how the bine insole supports the foot and keeps springy is down to both the material used in creating the insole, the Karvo™ material that was created with our special know-how of insoles and the material knowledge of Diatex.

Compared to carbon fibre, the material is more cushioning and harder to break even after bending over and over. It is also super light at only 15g making it not have any really affect on the weight of your shoes.

For those that work on their feet standing for long periods, supporting your arches is extremely important, and for those that move around a lot, it is important to have space under the arches so they can flex. With this material we can do both, with it being sturdy but flexible when needed!

For the most part we have been looking at Japanese customers when it comes to creating insoles and shoes. However when looking at foreign feet, we've found that the average size is slightly bigger! We've therefore gone back to the drawing board and created sizes that will be perfect for the western audience! We hope that we can help people not just in Japan but all over the world with this newly designed insole!

Until now we have only offered two sizes but in order to account for western users, we increased the size up to 30cm!

All bine Insoles for this project are available only in black with the bottom of the insole being silver.

Material used: KaRVO™

Usable in most types of shoes. (The insole can't be used in sandals due to the insole slipping out of the back of most sandals.)

Our bine insole works with any size of shoe as well as design, both for women and men! Have support wherever you go!

Because they are half insoles as well, it’s really easy to change them to other shoes! You can use this insole over and over in a variety of shoes!

We have been making shoes for comfort for the past 50 years.

Regeta’s main founding ideal is “Look to make more people find walking fun”. Starting with our shoes, we want to bring the joy of walking to everyone, and wish to do so via our shoes.

The biggest benefit we aim to provide with products we make is “protection for the feet”. With that in mind, we came up with this insole.

Where our competitors look to create insoles that either stick to the arches of your feet, or rigidly support your arches, our insoles look to support you arches without you even noticing. We don’t want to restrict and hinder your walking, but rather help your foot in smaller but more beneficial ways, such as taking on the burden when you take a step and so on.

However, one problem that we’ve faced is supporting the heel bone, or rather the space in front of the heel bone.

We found that if we can help to fully support this region as well, it would have a massive impact on helping to support the feet and arches, and in general help to relax the feet. but finding a material that we could use to do this was near impossible.

How we came to meet our future material “KaRVO™”

In 2015 though, we turned a corner, and came across the material that we would go on to make the bine insole. KaRVO™ is a uniquely created polypropylene resin. Upon using it, we found that this was the material that we could use to help a vast amount of people.

Development for the perfect insole hasn’t been easy. It’s been extremely difficult to create the perfect shape and find the perfect material. Even with the help of KaRVO™, we’ve struggled for the past 5 years to make it work and be perfect for use.

bine is the answer to the question our owner Yasuo Takamoto has been trying to find for the past 27 years of shoemaking.

The insoles main job is to provide comfort to the shoes they are in. That is what we have come to the conclusion of.

If you can use our bine insoles and feel this comfort and pleasure, during your time on earth, we would feel like we’ve achieved our aims. After all our goal with this insole is to make walking fun again by providing support and comfort to your feet.

2ball is a shoe that was broken down and created part by part while taking the act of walking in mind.

The outer sole is created with ball shaped points in two places where the weight of the sole should be place, which creates a mindfulness of the points when walking, helping the user to correct themselves when using the shoes.

It is also lightweight and has amazing cushioning and flexibility.
